We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional Event Development Coordinator to join our talented City Events team on a 12 month fixed term contract covering parental leave. This role reports to the Event Development Manager and supports the delivery of the event development portfolio of work, primarily with the administration of the Event Funding Framework and the coordination and/or delivery of event leverage initiatives.
This is a key role ensuring that robust systems and process are in place for the seamless delivery of the Event Funding Framework values and priorities, whilst building and maintaining high quality relationships with external and internal customers.
We are looking for someone with a working knowledge in the events industry and who has;
A degree in event administration, event management or similar, or equivalent level of learning clearly demonstrated through 2-3 years' industry experience
Proven funding, grants and/or sponsorship experience
Sound PC skills with the ability to use Microsoft package at an intermediate level (or above), particularly Excel and Word
Proven experience with formal report writing
The ability to interpret and analyse data
Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
Sound organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple demands and prioritise tasks from conception to delivery
Current drivers licence

This is a part time opportunity of 26 hours per week, five days a week. Some weekend work may be required during peak event times throughout the year.
