Inspired by Shakespeare’s tumultuous love story ‘Romeo and Juliet’, the Tauranga Musical Theatre are bringing to you West Side Story. Peforming at the Westside Theatre for a limited season from April 23 – May 8, West Side Story is set admist the vicious rivalry of teenage gangs in 1950s New York, the ground-breaking choreography and unforgettable score changed the face of musical theatre forever when it burst onto the Broadway stage in 1957.
